Training Terms & Participation Policy

1. Purpose of These Training Terms

These Training Terms outline the conditions under which Skilltastic Training delivers instructor-led training, workshops, and learning programmes to corporate clients and individual participants.

By enrolling in, booking, or attending any Skilltastic Training programme, you agree to comply with these Training Terms in addition to our website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Where applicable, all fees and payments related to training services are processed in USD.

2. Training Delivery Formats

a. Virtual Training

Delivered live via online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams or similar). Participants are responsible for ensuring:

  • Reliable internet access
  • Functional audio/video equipment
  • A suitable learning environment

Skilltastic Training is not responsible for disruptions, delays, or inability to participate resulting from participant-side technical issues.

b. In-Person Training

Delivered at a client site or an agreed external venue.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Clients are responsible for providing a suitable training room, seating, and basic facilities
  • Venue-related costs (if applicable) must be agreed in advance

Skilltastic Training reserves the right to adjust delivery if venue conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

c. Hybrid Training

Hybrid delivery combines in-person and virtual participation.

Clients acknowledge that:

  • Engagement levels may vary across delivery modes
  • Additional coordination may be required
  • Some activities may be adapted to suit both audiences

3. Participant Eligibility & Attendance

  • Training may be delivered to corporate groups or individual learners.
  • Participants must meet any prerequisites communicated before the training.
  • Full attendance is required to receive certificates of completion (where applicable).

Skilltastic Training reserves the right to deny certification where attendance or participation requirements are not met.

4. Substitutions & Transfers

Corporate Training

  • Participant substitutions are permitted at no additional cost if communicated at least 48 hours before the training.
  • Substitutions after this period may not be accommodated.

Individual Enrolments

  • Enrolments are generally non-transferable unless approved in writing.

5. Training Materials & Intellectual Property

All training materials provided, including but not limited to slides, workbooks, templates, toolkits, and digital resources, remain the intellectual property of Skilltastic Training unless otherwise stated.

Participants and organisations may:

  • Use materials for personal learning or internal organisational purposes.

They may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, sell, or modify materials
  • Use materials to deliver their own training programmes
  • Share materials outside their organisation without written consent

6. Recording & Confidentiality

  • Recording of training sessions (audio or video) is not permitted without prior written approval.
  • Participants must respect the confidentiality of discussions, shared experiences, and organisational information discussed during training.

Skilltastic Training may record sessions for internal quality assurance or learning purposes, with prior notice.

7. Trainer Substitution & Programme Adjustments

Skilltastic Training reserves the right to:

  • Substitute trainers when necessary
  • Adjust content flow or activities to suit participant needs, time constraints, or delivery format

Such adjustments do not constitute a breach of agreement.

8. Customised Training

For customised or bespoke programmes:

  • Content is developed based on information provided by the client
  • Significant changes requested after development may incur additional fees
  • Customised materials may not be reused or repurposed without written agreement

9. Conduct & Participation Standards

Participants are expected to:

  • Engage respectfully and professionally
  • Follow trainer instructions
  • Contribute constructively to discussions and activities

Skilltastic Training reserves the right to remove participants for disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. No refunds or credits will be issued in such cases.

10. Health, Safety & Wellbeing (In-Person Training)

For in-person sessions:

  • Clients must ensure a safe training environment
  • Participants must follow applicable health and safety guidelines
  • Skilltastic Training may suspend or terminate a session if conditions pose a safety risk

11. Force Majeure

Skilltastic Training shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver training due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, technical failures, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

12. Limitation of Responsibility

  • Skilltastic Training does not guarantee specific outcomes, promotions, certifications, or business results.
  • Skilltastic Training is not responsible for actions taken by participants based on training content.
  • Training is provided for educational and professional development purposes only.

13. Relationship to Other Policies

These Training Terms operate alongside:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Refund & Cancellation Policy

In the event of a conflict, the more specific policy applicable to the situation will prevail.
